Mohanpur (Bengali: মোহনপুর) is a town and a Police station in Paschim Medinipur in the Indian state of West Bengal.

The culture of Mohanpur is very similar to that of Balasore district in Orissa owing to the proximity. In fact one of the oldest temples is a Jagannath temple which was built in 1811.[1]. Other notable temples are the Raghunath temple from the 18th century and the Lakshmi temple from the 19th century. [1]
