Mohan Sinha Mehta was founder of Vidya Bhavan group of institutions and Sewa Mandir in Udaipur in Rajasthan . Dr Mehta did his PHd fro London School of Economics. He was devan of Princely state of Banswara and a member of Constituent Assembley of India in 1947.He was India's High Commissioner to Pakistan in 1951 .He was Vice Chancellor of University of Rajasthan in 1960. He did a lot of work in field of adult education .He was father of Indian diplomat Jagat Singh Mehta.He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civil decor of India.
