Mohammed 'Mémé' Tchité (born January 31, 1984) is a Congolese footballer currently playing at R.S.C. Anderlecht.

Tchité started his footballing career at Prince Louis Bujumbura, the club from the capital city of Burundi. In 2002 he left and went to play with Victory Sport Mukura, a club from Rwanda. It was at that club that he was noticed by scouts from Belgian club Standard Liège.

In 2003 he arrived in Liège, where he rarely was allowed to play in the first team. However in 2004 and 2005 he got to play more often. Tchité became a regular member of the team and managed to score a number of goals also. At the beginning of the 2005-06 season he was constantly amongst the starting eleven and scored goal after goal. His team played very well that season, but narrowly lost the championship in the last two matches to Anderlecht, partly due to the long time suspension of Sergio Conceiçao, the captain of the team. Tchité scored 16 goals that season and finished second in the goal scorers list behind Tosin Dosunmu from Germinal Beerschot who scored two more.

At the end of 2004/05 season, he joined on loan Juventus Turin for a 3-game tournèe in Japan and Hong Kong. He played just a few minutes of the third match, against FC Tokyo.

On the 10th July 2006, Tchité seemed on his way to the Israeli club Beitar Jerusalem but one day later he suddenly announced he was going to Anderlecht. Anderlecht had matched Beitar's offer. Tchité, who is a muslim, was not really looking forward to playing in the Jewish Israel and so he chose for Anderlecht. He has let it be known that he wishes to play for the Belgian National team when he obtains his Belgian citizenship.
