Mohammad "Hawk" Haque is an artist, designer, and programmer who, along with Ananth Panagariya, authors webcomic Applegeeks.

Haque attended Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. He is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Haque began working as a web programmer when he was 15 and was moved by his employers into the graphics department, where he worked for several years. He currently works at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as a graphic designer, web designer, and Flash specialist.

He is primarily a digital artist who is best known for his work on the Internet, particularly the webcomic Applegeeks. He and Ananth Panagariya opened the site in November 2002 and have maintained it since. Since the comics' inception, Haque and Panagariya have gone to various conventions, particularly Otakon and Katsucon, to promote their work and meet their readers.

In addition to Applegeeks, Haque and Panagariya had a 9-page short titled Seven published in the graphic novel anthology Disposable Parts. More recently, Haque and Panagariya have produced the short Disconnect for City Limits, a graphic novel anthology by Day Media.

Haque has finished a large project for popular webcomic Penny Arcade, for the collectable card game (CCG) based on the property. He is also the recipient of a CGTalk Choice Award. He also runs a personal site with several other artists, under the title Hawkstudios[1].

It should be noted that he was born 24th of February 1982, and he shares his birthday with Steve Jobs founder of Apple, and because of that coincidence he made a comic about that.
