Mohammad Al-Shalhoub (Arabic: محمد الشلهوب; born 8 December 1980) is a Saudi Arabian football (soccer) player who currently plays as a striker for Al Hilal.
He has been a member of the Saudi Arabian national team since 2000 when he was just nineteen years of age, and was recently called up to the squad to participate in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. However, he has been absent due to the death of his mother.
In November 30, 2006 Mohammad Al-Shalhoub has been selected the 2nd best Asian footballer of the year, after the Qatari Khalfan Ibrahim who has been selected as the best footballer in Asia of 2006 from AFC.
