[edit] Welcome...

Welcome!!

Hello, Moebiusuibeom, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some useful pages to help you get started:

I hope you'll enjoy contributing as much as I do. When posting on discussion pages, please sign your messages. To do this, type four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

You are seeing this because in my patrols for vandalism, I saw you had edited a page. I also noticed that your talk page (this page) had a red link. That meant that the talk page didn't exist yet. I am sorry you can't eat the cookies, but they are still fresh. If you find a way to enjoy them, let me know. Will (Talk - contribs) 07:04, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Estacion Federico Lacroze-.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Estacion Federico Lacroze-.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Please!, if you took that picture, change the current licence tag to any of the following (see which one best fit you): {{PD-self}}, {{Cc-by-sa-2.5}}, {{GFDL-self}}, {{FAL}} or {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}}. Thanks --Mariano(t/c) 12:39, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Hello Mariano, pleased to meet you, I'm new at wikipedia's protocol, it's not easy but keeps my mind exercised y como sos argentino continuare en castellano, soy Jorge, medio Porteño, Santafesino y Entrerriano, criado en otros lares, multicultural.

I'm rely not sure what you are trying to tell me... Spanish is not my strongest language. Are you saying Image:Alstom Metropolis.jpg was found on Google, or do you want to just add it to the article you mentioned? If it's the later just add it like any other image ([[Image:Alstom Metropolis.jpg|thumb|some caption]]). --Sherool (talk) 07:03, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Villa Paranacito

Hi Meobius. I understand your concer regarding the article, but let answer to your questions:

  1. "Obviously, vegetables are not shy being photograph." is not a phrase to have in an encyclopedia. Feel free to add a comment such as "Such boats are seen throughout the Delta, especially in Villa Paranacito.".
  2. Wikipedia is not a travel blog. Sites offering tours and services are not welcome, specially if they are not directly connected to the article itself. I'm affraid that such link is considered spam and has to be removed.
  3. I removed the See also section because Tigre was already linked in the text of the article, and it wasn't that important to propose it again.

You are doing a really nice job. If you are for a constructive critic: try keeping things encyclopedical, both in the contents and the text you write. You might feel like taking a look to the preferred manual of style. Good wiking, Mariano(t/c) 12:22, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:La Cumbrecita chapel.jpg listed for deletion

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:La Cumbrecita chapel.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 10:54, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
