[edit] Award
Thanks for the award. Do you have a particular area that you prefer to work in? CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 21:34, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I started off with Weather and aircraft and then found that there was lots of ohter stuff to help out in by going through the Recent changes page. I find I end up editing articles even if I know nothing about them. Spelling, vadalism, general tidy, etc. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 22:12, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Statistics
Hello. Try write to User:Angela and User:Woohookitty. Hopefully they'll give you some feedback. If you'll have something on your mind in future, just let me know. - Darwinek 19:14, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Test Track
I (hopefully temporarily) removed the statement that Test Track is the most popular ride at Epcot. Where did you get this piece of information? This is something that really needs to be supported by numbers or something solid, because it's the sort of thing that travel guides and such are really inaccurate about. [edit] game posted on Fritz page
Could you please post the full move list of the chess game that you posted an image of on the Fritz page? Hayne 23:25, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for posting the initial moves (on my talk page). Here's a PGN of the whole game, with some notes I added while analyzing it with Hiarcs 10 - it seems strange that Fritz would go out of book so early (with an arguable bad move) and also make so many small and large mistakes latter on. Are you sure your Fritz is set up correctly?

[edit] spaces before unit symbols
Hi, thank you for adding temperatures to Foja Mountains.
I reformatted 30° C to 30 °C. This is because the space comes between the digit and the unit symbol (Manual of style). The unit symbol is a composite '°C' and does not have an internal space.
I just thought I would let you know. I would be happy if you want to discuss this more. Keep up the good work. bobblewik 10:44, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ellis Island Casino & Brewery
Please explain why your articles are notable. I almost deleted this but... well, being a casino is not necessarily notable. You must explain what makes it notable. gren グレン ? 06:20, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well, any semi-major casino, yes. However a local establishment can be a casino. Could you say how many people are employed? Its budget? Something to show that it's not your run of the mill restaurant with gambling or whatnot. gren グレン ? 17:22, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rachel Goetz
Rachel Goetz has been proposed for deletion. Please see the article for details. NickelShoe 22:37, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
- I neither proposed nor supported the deletion. I simply saw fit to inform you about it. You want to deprod it, I'm not sending to AfD (though someone else might). NickelShoe 22:46, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Is it malfunctioning?
I saw it removed an image from the Yamaha FZ1 page that has complete copyright info, and the photographer, who doesn't want to be named, is in the summary and released it worldwide. What more info can be added? All the correct info was put in when the picture was uploaded as far as I can tell by Snowfalcon. What else is there to add except summary, licensing, - the source was my own computer - do I have to put that on there as the source? Model Citizen 03:41, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- OrphanBot's working just fine: the image had a "nosource" tag on it, and OrphanBot considers "no source" to be more authoritative than any tag but {{GFDL-self}} or {{PD-self}}. A statement of "no rights reserved" by itself is meaningless: without knowing the photographer, there is no way of verifying that the tag is correct. --Carnildo 04:58, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maria Sharapova
Hey there. I noticed you made a few very good edits to Maria Sharapova. I would just like to say thank you, and I hope for more constructive edits to Wikipedia from you. Noelle De Guzman (talk) 11:09, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:2002 AcuraRL.JPG
|
Thanks for uploading Image:2002 AcuraRL.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -SCEhardT 04:38, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright conflict
Hi - At Image:James Dean Memorial.JPG you wrote "Photographer releases all rights worldwide." which equates to {{PD-self}}, but you put a {{GFDL}} license on the image. Please choose one and delete the other. -SCEhardT 04:41, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, it looks like you did this on a bunch of images. Please check them all. Thanks! -SCEhardT 04:42, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Whisfalls2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Whisfalls2.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:46, 13 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Oden 05:46, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Middle verse of the Bible
I've nominated Middle verse of the Bible, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Middle verse of the Bible satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Middle verse of the Bible and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Middle verse of the Bible during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Inkpaduta 05:57, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
