Mabuhay!

I'm a Pinoy expatriate working in the middle east and Europe as Financial Consultant. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and reviewing for the Certified Management Accountant exam. I live most of my life in Houston, Texas and Manila and is now exploring the great cities of Cairo, Jeddah, Athens and Istanbul.

As Financial Consultant, my work focuses on providing top management with reports that assess and evaluate their business performance in terms of liquidity, solvency, stability and earnings capacity. I also prepare documentation of existing and non-existing businesses and make use of different business models to come up with a recommendation for either pursuing a new business or merging old ones. My area of concentration is in the Real Estate, Trading, Telecommunications and Health-related industries.

I also work as web designer and writer, maintaining websites dedicated to world cinema and fashion. I'm an avid fan of GoLive, the Adobe software designed to create webpages. I design and maintain the following websites:

I am also a film reviewer and currently collects DVDs of classic films (mostly made by French, Italian and German new wave directors).

I admire the works of Luchino Visconti, Michelangelo Antonioni, Francis Ford Coppola, Akira Kurosawa, Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne, Gus Van Sant,Andre Techine, Lino Brocka, Mike de Leon and Ishmael Bernal.
