Talk:Modern Stonemasonry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am a Stonemason and had the desire to share some of the tricks of the trade. CURRENTLY I have only listed tools that a Stonemason needs, but as soon as I get the free time, I intend to put some rather in depth information on here for those that are interested in Stonemasonry, not as a historical concept or how it was done centuries ago, but rather, how it's done today.
This information could help a Stonemason improve his work and it contains quite a bit of information that many could find rather interesting.
- Haha! Having experience in this industry (and more if circumstances work out) I found this page hilarious. Not very encyclopedic though. "LOL" --Mincan 00:42, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- This person should have a stonemason outside his work enviroment proofread for style. The information is basically correct from my experince, though the previous comment only makes us appear boorish 'A~~H68.55.58.100'. This is a WORLD WIDE FORUM and it takes COURAGE to speak to such a diverse and large audince. Any tips or 'tricks of the trade' will only lead to Superior Work and a greater draw of business (MONEY) for all. Stone is a broad field, any cross disipline tips will benefit everyone. Quarry, Sculpture, Gravel, Dry laid, archilogical, ect. and anybody who performs services or manafactures devices for aspects of our industry should pitch in to this discussion. Anything (man made) Beautiful is Never Easy, especially in StoneMasonry. The more {CONSTRUCTIVE}and informational comments the BETTER for EVERYBODY.
