"Modern Way" is a song by Kaiser Chiefs, appearing on their debut album Employment. It was released as the fourth and final single from that album (not counting re-issues) on 7 November 2005. It entered at #11 in the UK charts. Its lyrics refer to loneliness and regret.

The song's music video marked the directional debut of the band's lead singer, Ricky Wilson (co-directed by profilic video director Scott Lyon), and tells of the success of William Green, a man who can balance tennis balls on his face, and the impact he has made on the public. The band appears throughout as extras (notably donning glasses and facial hair), but appear as themselves at the balancer's climatic performance.

The Cribs, who are good friends with Kaiser Chiefs, covered "Modern Way" in 2005, as a b-side to their single "Mirror Kissers". In 2006, the song was reworked for the Buena Vista Social Club album Rhythms del Mundo.

Modern Way was used by Fox Network in commercials for the program, Drive.
