Modern Fix

Modern Fix is a monthly music and culture zine based out of San Diego, USA. It's currently on issue #51 (as of June, 2006).
Started in September of 2000, the magazine was created as a free alternative to the mainstream media, and also includes non-music content such as videogame coverage, comedian interviews (David Cross, Lewis Black, etc) and comics (like Too Much Coffee Man).
Of note is the bands, now on major labels, that they gave first covers to, like Thursday (band), Thrice and The Unicorns.
