Their fifth release, Mobilize is a punk rock/hardcore punk album by Anti-Flag. Released in the wake of the September 11th attacks, their name and music were viewed as "un-American" by some, and they found themselves on the receiving end of a minor album ban. On top of that, their anti-violence stance was very unpopular in the revenge-happy environment immediately following the attacks. The opening track "911 for Peace" is regarded as one of the bands most powerful songs to date and fits in well with the rest of anthemic, political tracks on an album released in direct response to a crucial time in the country's history.

On August 2006, members of a popular Anti-Flag fan forum, The People United, voted 911 For Peace the best Anti-Flag song of all time, beating out favorites such as Die For The Government and Got The Numbers.
