Metropolitan Mobile has a population of 400,526^[1] within Mobile County in the southwestern tip of Alabama. The Mobile metropolitan area is the fastest-growing and the second-largest metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Alabama.The Mobile - Daphne - Fairhope combined statistical area also includes the micro but separate Baldwin County metro, with a population of 167,099
