[edit] Hollywood/Runaway

Mkdw/Langara College: Sorry to say this, but is there any way that the two of you might consider letting things cool down a bit so that we can work through the situations at Runaway production and Hollywood North? I'm basing this request on some of your most recent comments to "Dont":

On the Runaway production talk page:

"whether you agree to a Mediation or not really has no importance to this article."
"you lost your right to be treated as a respected member of Wikipedia"
"I would say the validity of his contributions and statements are unconsequencial to the truth."

The above aren't going to help bring "Dont" into the mediation process. As for these comments:

On the Runaway production talk page:

"This is honestly your last chance to turn around and make right your being here on Wikipedia."

On Donteatyellowsnow's talk page:

"The next time you violate Wikipedia's NPOV rule by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia."

Neither of you are admins - nor am I, for that matter. We don't have the authority to follow up on these statements, or to guarantee that they will be enacted.

Look, I can understand the frustration you must feel over this. To be honest, I feel like I'm experiencing it on two fronts, since I'm of the opinion that both "Runaway" and "Hollywood" need substantial improvements to become more balanced. Furthermore, nothing I have said here should be interpreted as justification for "Dont"'s actions with regards to these articles - I don't condone them at all. The reality, though, is that "Dont" is involved in this situation, and if we want to resolve it, we have to find a way to bring him/her into the process. Please feel free to let me know what you think of this. --Ckatzchatspy 02:00, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
