[edit] Hollywood/Runaway
Mkdw/Langara College: Sorry to say this, but is there any way that the two of you might consider letting things cool down a bit so that we can work through the situations at Runaway production and Hollywood North? I'm basing this request on some of your most recent comments to "Dont":
On the Runaway production talk page:
- "whether you agree to a Mediation or not really has no importance to this article."
- "you lost your right to be treated as a respected member of Wikipedia"
- "I would say the validity of his contributions and statements are unconsequencial to the truth."
The above aren't going to help bring "Dont" into the mediation process. As for these comments:
On the Runaway production talk page:
- "This is honestly your last chance to turn around and make right your being here on Wikipedia."
On Donteatyellowsnow's talk page:
- "The next time you violate Wikipedia's NPOV rule by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia."
Neither of you are admins - nor am I, for that matter. We don't have the authority to follow up on these statements, or to guarantee that they will be enacted.
Look, I can understand the frustration you must feel over this. To be honest, I feel like I'm experiencing it on two fronts, since I'm of the opinion that both "Runaway" and "Hollywood" need substantial improvements to become more balanced. Furthermore, nothing I have said here should be interpreted as justification for "Dont"'s actions with regards to these articles - I don't condone them at all. The reality, though, is that "Dont" is involved in this situation, and if we want to resolve it, we have to find a way to bring him/her into the process. Please feel free to let me know what you think of this. --Ckatzchatspy 02:00, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
