Martin Kaltenbrunner is a researcher and Ph.D. candidate working in the Music Technology Group at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. His research work concentrates on Tangible User Interfaces and Auditory User Interfaces and interactive sonic systems in general. He is currently teaching a class on interactive systems at the Department of Technology at the UPF, and two courses on tangible and auditory interfaces within the Interface Culture Department at the University of Arts and Industrial Design Linz. Currently he is mainly working on the reacTable, a novel electronic music instrument with a tangible user interface.
