Mk 19 40 mm grenade launcher

calibre: 40mm weight: 34 kg muzzle velocity: 240 metres per second range: 1,600 metres This grenade launcher is belt fed, leading to it actually being designated as a machine gun. The rounds are effective against personnel or light armour and are unusual in that each link stays with the cartridge and is ejected with it. It can also be used mounted on vehicles and used with day, night, and laser sights. The SAS used this weapon during their missions in the Gulf War.
