Matthew Joseph Perry (born Matthew Joseph Garnham on August 26, 1989 in St. Aseph, Wales) is an British bassist, best known for his work with the British rock band Infinite Rapture.
A self-taught bass player, Perry's first bass was a Stagg copy of a Fender Precision Bass that was given to him for free by bandmate Iain Kirman when he was 15 years old. He used this in the early gigs of Infinite Rapture when they were known as Equilibrium. As the band became more successful he began to use the Thunderbird IV he still uses today. He has stated his favourite bassists as being Steve Harris, Billy Sheehan and Duff McKagan.
