"Mixed Up World" is a single released by Sophie Ellis-Bextor in 2003 by Polydor Records and taken from her second solo album Shoot from the Hip. It peaked at #7 on the UK charts. It was considered somewhat a success because although it didn't do better than her first 3 singles, it still gained decent positions on the Irish and Australian charts. The single includes an easy-listening, chillout B-side, called "The Earth Shook the Devil's Hand". A short clip from the video was featured in an ad on Australia's Vh1 in June 2006 and then in another in September. The music video was directed by Rupert Jones.
