"Mixed Up World" is a single released by Sophie Ellis-Bextor in 2003 by Polydor Records and taken from her second solo album Shoot from the Hip. It peaked at #7 on the UK charts. It was considered somewhat a success because although it didn't do better than her first 3 singles, it still gained decent positions on the Irish and Australian charts. The single includes an easy-listening, chillout B-side, called "The Earth Shook the Devil's Hand". A short clip from the video was featured in an ad on Australia's Vh1 in June 2006 and then in another in September. The music video was directed by Rupert Jones.

The video features various dancers wearing a mix of bright and dark colours. It also features men in a bowler hats as Sophie moves between black and white.
