Mix FM

Mix FM is a radio format used by many radio stations throughout the world. As its name suggests, it often advertises a mix of music, including both current and classic songs and alternative genres, though some stations focus on one to the exclusion of the other. Its normally classified as an adult contemporary format. KHMX in Houston, Texas is the first station to have success with the "Mix" format when it debuted in 1990.
