Mitsu District, Okayama

Mitsu (御津郡; -gun) was a district located in Okayama, Japan. As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 22,923. The total area is 345.10 km².

On April 1, 1900, the district was founded after the mergers of Mino and Tsudaka Districts.
On January 22, 2007, the town of Takebe merged into the city of Okayama and ended their 100-plus year history.

Due to the mergers, the following towns have been dissolved since the 1970s.
