Mitchell Wiggins

Mitchell Wiggins (born September 28, 1959, in LaGrange, North Carolina) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Indiana Pacers as the 23rd overall pick of the 1983 NBA Draft. A 6'4" guard who played collegiately at Clemson University and Florida State University, Wiggins played in six NBA seasons. He played for the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers. In Europe he appeared for Milon Nea Smirni basketball club and Sporting Athens.

Wiggins' best year as a professional came during the 1989-90 NBA season as a member of the Rockets, appearing in 66 games and averaging 15.5 ppg. In his career, which would be cut short due to repeated drug abuse, Wiggins played in 389 games and scored a total of 3,877 points.
