Mitchell Wherley is a businessman in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. He is the domestic partner of retired NFL football player Esera Tuaolo.

They met in 1995 at a local nightclub, and became partners in 1997, when Esera took Mitchell to meet his family. They currently live in a suburb of Minneapolis with their twin children (born 2001), who were adopted from Tuaolo's native Samoa.

Wherley owns & operates several upscale drinking clubs in the Twin Cities metro area. He is also a partner with his mother, Shelly Engelsma, in a spa and salon business, Spalon Montage (2003 estimated value: $12 million) [1] headquartered in Edina, Minnesota.
