[edit] Summary
The earliest known painting of Stanwell Park, by Henry Grant Lloyd, 1860, possibly commissioned by Campbell to celebrate the completion of the first house of the property. On the watercolour is written Residence of C. Mitchell Esq. and Little Bulli. The fenced road winding down Bald Hill is in the foreground. The cluster of Mitchell buildings stand on the spur between the two creeks, to the back of the Dress Circle of today. (courtesy Mitchell Library))
