[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Avril Lavigne
Only member is its creator. No activity since day of creation, other than an MfD last month, which resulted in keep because the project was too new at the time. Now, I think it is the appropriate time to delete it. Note to closing admin: if deleted, you might want to deletethis and this. Jorcogα 11:18, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete no activity means it's a waste of time being here. Also, the fact there's only one member... --Alex (Talk) 12:27, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete - hoenstly has no potential. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 18:24, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete a WikiProject for a single person is pretty much.. insane.. -- Ned Scott 06:45, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete - Can't really see this one moving forward with activity either. --Arnzy (talk · contribs) 07:24, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- Comment - I note that the project has yet to really do any advertisement, even on the Avril Lavigne page itself, which seems odd to me. I personally think the project may still be too new to be deleted (I think 3 months is the minimum time required), and, if the project were to do any sort of advertising of its own existence as per Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide, I would think that it would deserve a chance to continue at least one more month. Provisional Keep if those conditions are met in the near future. Badbilltucker 19:12, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete even if this were to be active, it is too narrow of a scope for a Wikiproject. It can only include Avril Lavigne and her 3 albums, possibly her husband. T Rex | talk 05:49, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- and her fanclub, and her record label, and her birthplace, and all kinds of rumours and unsourced trivia, and gossip, and conjecture, and on and on. Delete btw, in case that wasn't clear. KillerChihuahua?!? 15:26, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete per nominator. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 02:18, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Keep - Again someone has jumped the gun! Although I'd probably agree, it was kinda mean sending the project to MfD. I think that a notice to the project or to its member(s) would have been better advised, stating how they could have gotten more members to the project & how to get it in full swing. For example, someone could have mentioned placing a post on the community portal notice board. Then if there was still no action from the members, then the right action would be to send it here. Deletionists always jump the gun... Spawn Man 05:58, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- We really shouldn't have to go looking for people to fill a WikiProject.. There's really nothing on these pages, and it would be really easy to recreate the project if interest comes up at a later time. There's only one member, and please, enough of the "deletionists" crap. -- Ned Scott 06:36, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
