• Weak keep, I guess. Does no real harm; the claim that "it is private" is totally absurd, however. As a page on Wikipedia, it is licensed under GFDL, and is readable by the public. If you want to keep it private, then do buy a journal. Xoloz 02:43, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Beat the system? I wanted to rename it to "notes", is that i promblem? You want me to take a afd to a USERSPACE for serious? I cant have a personal page? GNU or no GNU, let my userspace alone, i need it to have my notes on. I wrote that to explicitly state that i dont want any atention. Of course, it not legaly binding, but how about some basic comon sense?

• Comment We can see that after you changed the name you removed the mfd tag. [1] And the purpose of changing the name was so that it could not be linked at the top and then we'd get this User:Striver/Wikilogg, and thus wouldn't be able to tell what it was that was up for deletion.--Jersey Devil 03:05, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

• Delete. This page violates a number of Wikipedia guidelines and policies, especially WP:NPA and WP:OWN. I'm sorry, but Wikipedia is not a free webspace provider, and according to the warning we read every time we edit a page, our contributions will be visible immediately. User space is usually left alone if it is uncontroversial, but it does not belong to individual editors. It is part of Wikipedia, licensed under the GFDL, meaning it can potentially be edited mercilessly by other users if it doesn't meet guidelines. --TantalumTelluride 05:30, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Absolutely nothing. But you could guarantee that, if you do, I would be the first to file an request for comment (if someone doesn't do it first). Striver, you are really testing the community's patience as you can see by the comments on your user talk page, among others, and as you can see by the numerous AfDs regarding articles you're created. I don't think this would be a good time to rock the boat by suggesting you will do this. Creating frivolous articles is just annoying. But defying Wikipedia policies and thinking you are above community consensus is intolerable. joturner 00:17, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

• Weak delete. WP policy says userpages are not owned by the poster and are not free webhosting of content not aimed at improving WP. Current version of Striver's page is, at least, relevant to the topic, though it's mainly about "conspiracy" among other editors. But Striver's history in article creation, AfD discussions, and this discussion suggests that we can expect more policy violations and personal attacks on this page. If Striver were to agree to abide by WP:CIVIL, I'd change my vote to Keep. Barno 15:40, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

• Delete per above, Wikipedia is not a blog, WP:CIVIL. There are ways of keeping those kind of notes if one must and keeping them off of WP (in bookmarks, word processing document, etc.). See also meta:Don't be dense. As for the content being reproduced on User talk:Striver (an apparent dismissal of the above stated intention to think more about being civil), if this MfD goes through then presumably that talk page is in risk of deletion per CSD G4, or at least that portion of it that reproduces and adds similar content to what is here as well as the corresponding history pages on which it appears. • Delete normally I am very reluctant to endorse deleting someone's userspace subpage but this falls squarely under WP:NOT and Striver's incivility while not entirely relevant to the page itself is extremely relevant to this deletion in showing that this page exists to breed hostility. My suggestion to shriver is to save your notes to a text file on your computer then mark your notes page with {{db|reason}} which will go a far way to showing good faith and that there are no hard feelings.
