[edit] Portal:Asia/Selected biography

As of now, being a maintainer of Portal:Asia, I don't see the point of having both a selected article and a selected biography section. Also, why a biography section? Why not a selected history or geography section? (Please note though, that I was the original creator of the section, but I'm having second thoughts on its purpose...)--☆TBC☆ (aka Tree Biting Conspiracy) 04:09, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

It's a CSD general criteria - #7, applies to all namespaces. The general rule being, if you made it and you don't want it anymore, it can be speedied. Kimchi.sg 16:34, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

I don't believe CSD 7 doesn't applies, since a few anon IP's and users have also edited the section. --TBCTaLk?!? 18:23, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

• Delete Selected article and selected biography are used, to great effect (in my opinion!) on the politics portal. However, I think the nom. is right for Asia selected history or geography section would be better suited. --Wisden17 20:04, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
