I decided not to add the webcomic infobox to this one, since it's a multimedia site rather than just a manga. –Abe Dashiell (t/c) 09:17, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Criticism of Sirkowski's Political Writings

Is criticsm of Sirkowski's political writings a valid subject for linking? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stoneisland (talkcontribs) 22:47, 28 January 2007 (UTC).

No it is not. This is an article about Miss Dynamite. Besides, the link you are trying to add is just the internet stalking of a banned angry troll. Please stop your vandalism of Wikipedia. 70.55.146.210 01:02, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, if criticism of Sirkowski's politics is off limits, shouldn't the link to Liberal Avenger be removed (seeing as it has nothing to do with Miss Dynamite and everything to do with his politics)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stoneisland (talkcontribs) 22:47, 28 January 2007 (UTC).

Stop editing this article. Your vandalism from both your login and IP adress have been reported to the Wikipedia admins. Wikipedia is not the place for you to stalk people you don't like. 70.53.192.30 22:49, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

A link to "sirkowski watch" is not appropriate at this time. The reason for that is because Sirkowski watch is very recent creation. Therefore, there exists a reasonable doubt that the link to "sirkowski watch" constitutes perpetuating a "grudge" rather than sharing "encyclopedic content." Should "sirkowski watch" remain in existence for a sufficently long period that the average Internet user would reasonably believe that "sirkowski watch" is as well-known and would exist for the same duration of time as other websites like "missdynamite.com", then less doubt would exist that the link to "sirkowski watch" is provided to perpetuate a "grudge." At this time, "sirkowski watch" is a very young website; is also a mostly unknown website; and it does not even have its own instant-web address (e.g., "sirkowski-watch.com"). It runs off of the word-press service. Most importantly, presently, a reasonably intelligent & impartial person would not be convinced that the link is not provided to perpetuate a "grudge". Once you can get past that hurdle -- the interpretation of the reasonably intelligent & impartial person who likely would know nothing of miss dynamite, sirkowski, and would have no strong political or social leanings -- then perhaps the argument can be made that links to "sirkowski watch" constitute sharing "encyclopedic content." --this edit was made by alphafactor So long, and thanks for all the fish! 23:58, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

You know... It probably is appropriate to put in some neutral, biographic content about the creator. Namely, some information on his professional background, political leanings, and pet-ownershiphobby. Alternatively, if this is not a commonly held view, than perhaps these edits should be ommitted or removed. Additionally, Wikipedia would be well-served were someone to add in articles about Liberal Avenger or Starship Titus. --this edit was made by alphafactor So long, and thanks for all the fish! 00:45, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Looks good to me. I've edited a bit for style, added some links to other wiki articles, etc...Stoneisland 19:43, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Anime & Manga

The terms anime and manga don't take the country of origin of the artwork's creator nor the country where the work was published into consideration. You are misreading the Wikipedia definition of anime:

"...Anime is a style of cartoon animation originating in Japan..."

That is saying that the STYLE originated in Japan - not the given piece of art at hand.

The "amer" labels are even more inappropriate because Miss Dynamite is created in Canada by a Canadian. We don't need new terms like "Canime" or "Canamanga," either. Simple anime and manga are the correct words to use and should remain in the article. --AStanhope 04:15, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

I think anime/manga inspired needs to be used here. Anime is known in English as Japanese cartoons, and manga is known in English as Japanese comics. As this is the English wikipedia, the terms are simply invalid when applied to any non-Japanese production. The article should be changed, IMO. Fiction Alchemist 05:21, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Interactive Comic

I know that for a long time the animated series let the audience vote on what happened next. Seems like it should be mentioned.(Done) Vesperal 22:33, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Creation and Manga

First of all, I can't belive the article made no mention of the comics (so much better than the anime :P) So I added some stuff there. I also paraphrased Sirkowski's description of Eva's creation, but that section is a little skimpy cause I got lazy.Vesperal 05:36, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A swedish article about the great Miss Dynamite.

I plan to create a Swedish article in Wikipedia about Miss Dynamite. Not sure what the author and the rest of you thinks about that?? My idea was just a carbon copy of this article but in Swedish? Want to know what you others and its creator thinks about it?

Go for it!Sirkowski 07:25, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
