- Ted Field III, the voice actor for Spike, also did the voice of Bobby the Barbarian in Dungeons & Dragons.
- On April 1, 2006, as part of an evening of April Fool's Day programming pranks, the Adult Swim programming block of Cartoon Network aired the pilot episode of Mr. T in place of a scheduled rerun of the anime series Cowboy Bebop while Cartoon Network's sister station Boomerang had Mr. T compete against some of the channel's animated stars.
- On May 20, 2006, after the April Fool's prank sparked hype from nostalgic fans, Mr. T returns to the airwaves every morning (except Saturday morning) at 5:30 a.m. on Adult Swim. Sunday morning has Mr. T following Chuck Norris' Karate Kommandos.
