Missouri Route 140 (decommissioned)

Route 140 is a former highway in the St. Louis area, before being decommissioned in 1974. Its northern terminus was at U.S. Route 67 east of Florissant and its western terminus was at U.S. Route 40/U.S. Route 61 (now Interstate 64 at the Ladue/Frontenac city limits. The road is now part of U.S. Route 67 which was re-routed down this highway. The road is known locally as Lindbergh Boulevard.
Cities on the highway:
A remnant of the original Highway 140 still remains in Hazelwood, Missouri. It parallels the current southbound U.S. Highway 67 for approximately four city blocks. Its primary use is for ingress and egress to the city's post office and to a few other businesses to the south.
