Missouri Highway Patrol

The Missouri Highway Patrol is the state police agency for Missouri, which has jurisdiction anywhere in the state. It was created to protect the lives, property and constitutional rights of people in Missouri.

The Missouri Highway Patrol maintains nine troop headquarters in the following locations:

Troop A: Lee's Summit

Troop B: Macon

Troop C: St. Louis

Troop D: Springfield

Troop E: Poplar Bluff

Troop F: Jefferson City

Troop G: Willow Springs

Troop H: St. Joseph

Troop I: Rolla

Several of the divisions also maintain satellite headquarters.

Twenty-seven officers have given their lives in the line of duty serving the citizens of the state of Missouri.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is a division of the Missouri Department of Public Safety. The others being the Missouri Capitol Police, Missouri State Water Patrol, Missouri Homeland Security, Missouri State Emergency Management Agency and Missouri Gaming Commission.
