Mississippi Highway 304 consists of three routes in northwest Mississippi:

  • A currently-signed travel route, which runs from U.S. Highway 61 in Tunica Resorts (Tunica County) east to Interstate 55 in Hernando (DeSoto County). The western portion of this route is officially part of MS 713; the remainder of the route (except the portion that is part of the scenic route) no longer has an official state designation.
  • A scenic route, which begins at Interstate 55 in Coldwater, runs west then north to Arkabutla Lake and Eudora, then east along the MS 304 travel route to its terminus at I-55 in Hernando.
  • An interstate-standard route mostly coinciding with SIU 10 of Interstate 69, beginning at U.S. 61 just north of the Tunica/DeSoto County line, then running east to I-55 in northern Hernando. East of Hernando, the proposed route coincides with proposed Interstate 269, continuing east to enter Marshall County near Byhalia and intersect U.S. Highway 78 (future Interstate 22), then turning north to cross the Mississippi-Tennessee border near Collierville; this portion of the route is currently in the planning stages.
