Mississippi Delta Community College

Mississippi Delta Community College is a community college based in Moorhead, Mississippi. It also offers courses at locations in Drew, Greenville, Greenwood, and Indianola, Mississippi. Its mascot is the Trojan warrior. The college's president is Dr. Larry G. Bailey. It has an enrollment of 3,491[1] students.

The MDCC campus in Moorhead is home to the Mississippi Delta Law Enforcement Training Academy.

The school was founded in 1926 as Sunflower Junior College, and was fully accredited as a two-year institution in April 1928. The name of the school was changed in 1961 to Mississippi Delta Junior College and in 1989 to Mississippi Delta Community College.
