Miss Spider is the name of a loving spider in the bestselling Miss Spider children's books by David Kirk. She also appears in the Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends show and Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends - Harvest Time Hop and Fly video game.


Miss Spider is also the name of a French black widow spider in Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach and is voice acted by Susan Sarandon in the stop-motion film by Tim Burton.
