Miss Christine (Christine Frka) was a member of the LA group the GTOs during the late 60's. She was the one who recommended Alice Cooper to Frank Zappa, whose album Hot Rats she appears on the cover of. Miss Christine was also romantically involved with musician Todd Rundgren. After the GTOs disbanded she moved to New York. She was the topic of the Flying Burrito Brothers' Christine's Tune (Devil In Disguise) and (reportedly) Jackson Browne's 1974 song "For a Dancer." Miss Christine died on November 5th, 1972 of an overdose in a hotel room. [1]
