Miss Black America (band)

Miss Black America (MBA) are a rock band based in Suffolk, England. Its members are Seymour Glass (voice/guitar), Dan Smart (previously Simon Chapple) (drums), Mat Anthony (guitar/voice) and Laura Kidd (bass, replacing Mike Smith). MBA's Debut self-financed single sold out within weeks of release when John Peel was pushing the band on BBC Radio One. Rolling Stone's Michael Krugman and Jason Cohen voted their debut album God Bless? Album of the Year 2002. Up until early 2003, the band lineup was Seymour Glass (voice/guitar), Alistair 'Gish' Gedge (guitar), Mike Smith (bass), Neil Baldwin (drums).
Miss Black America have released records on the Integrity, Repeat Records and Ruby Slippers record labels.
