Miss Alaska Teen USA

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Miss Alaska Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Alaska in the Miss Teen USA pageant.

Alaska has not had a great deal of success at Miss Teen USA, with only three teens making the cut. However, Marla Johnston placed 1st runner-up to Bridgette Wilson of Oregon in 1990. The other two placements are recent, coming in 2003 and 2005. Alaska has not won any special awards.

Sonja Garness, Miss Alaska Teen USA 2005 and Rachel Marie Garness, Miss Alaska Teen USA 2002, are sisters.

Two Alaska teens have gone on to win the Miss Alaska USA title.
