Misato, Miyagi

Misato (美里町 Misato-machi?) is a town located in Tōda District, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
The town was formed on January 1, 2006 by the merger of the towns of Kogota and Nangō. As of 2005, the town has an estimated population of 26,322 and a density of 351 persons per km². The total area is 75.06 km².
