Misato, Mie

This article is about the former village in Mie Prefecture, Japan. There is a Japanese city with the same name, see Misato, Saitama, as well as numerous other municipalities, see Misato (disambiguation).
Misato (美里村; -mura) was a village located in Age District, Mie, Japan. On January 1, 2006, the village merged with seven other towns and villages and the city of Hisai into the expanded city of Tsu and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 4,164 and a density of 82.77 persons per km². The total area was 50.31 km².
