[edit] MS

Two things;

  • When adding to a list, please put the information in the most suitable category. In this case, there was already a 'computer games' category.
  • Please check that the information you add isn't already there. MapleStory was already on that list!

Is 'MS' a common abbreviation for MapleStory anyway?

Fourohfour 11:19, 6 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Abbreviations: Bad grammar and obscure meanings

Mirmo!, I do not wish to be rude, but I note that you have made changes to existing entries in the abbreviation pages. For example, in LP you changed:-

to

The original version was fine, and your version was grammatically wrong. There was no reason for changing this. You have done this with several other abbreviation pages.

I appreciate that English may not be your first language (my foreign languages are poor, so this is not a criticism of you). If you make a factually interesting new contribution with minor grammatical errors, that is okay. It can be altered.

However, if you replace other people's correct grammar with bad grammar (without reason), this is not beneficial. Please stop doing this.

Also, some abbreviations such as Bushbury Hyundai, a UK's Hyundai Motor Company dealer and branch. are very obscure, and not helpful. They are just a local car dealership, and including things like this clutter the list more than they benefit it. Also, just because they have a BH in the name doesn't mean they are well known as "BH".

For example, Steve Jobs (of Apple Computer) is not widely known as SJ, so he should not be on that list.

Also, please stop inserting facts simply for the sake of it (the Mercedes Sprinter info you added to a caption was not relevant). This is "vanity" contribution, and not good.

My apologies if this causes offence (some of your articles are worthwhile), but I felt it was important to say.

[edit] Templates on pages

Please do not remove a cleanup template from a page unless it's actually been cleaned up. I know you have a history of prematurely removing templates, so don't do this again, please. --ApolloBoy 02:18, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

  • I told you not to remove the cleanup tag and yet you did it again anyways. I've already notified the admins. --ApolloBoy 19:33, 9 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Hot Wheels

I just removed the stub from this article as there was no need to add it. Save them for the short articles. CambridgeBayWeather 10:06, 13 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Sandhills Publishing Company

I'm afraid that I've decided to nominate this article for deletion. Most of it was just copied from the company's website, which is (a) plagiarism, and/or (b) Definitely *not* a neutral POV (i.e. advertising!).

Even if the article was kept, most of it would have to be removed. Personally, I'm not convinced that the company is notable enough for inclusion; but you should contribute to the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Sandhills_Publishing_Company if you disagree.

I don't know if you read this page, but I think you have the right to know anyway.

On an unrelated matter, I agree with your decision to replace the "cleanup notices" with "copyedit". Copyedit is more appropriate than my "cleanup notice"s, so I left your changes in place.

Fourohfour 14:27, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

Hello, Mirmo. I see you have been repeatedly warned, as User:211.245.243.189, against removing the AfD tag on articles, and finally told that it may get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. Here's notification that editing the tag so that it no longer conveys the same message is in practice the same as removing it. Please stop doing it or you will be blocked from editing. Please edit constructively (please don't invent any other way of destroying the purpose of the tag). Bishonen | talk 12:06, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

When categorizing articles, remember to put 'cat' or 'categorize' in the edit summary box. Thanks! — Wackymacs 18:19, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Erard Oldtimersweb

You appear to have removed the AfD tag form this page more than once. This is conidered vandalism. Removing the tagh will not stop the AfD process (and is actually likely to increase delete votes) - Just zis  Guy, you know? [T]/[C] (W) AfD? 13:52, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Do not delete AFD warnings

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ApolloBoy 21:21, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] What's going on?

Why did you bring back The Class Hyosung, Gojin Motors, AND Hansung Motor Company? Please do not bring back deleted articles. --ApolloBoy 04:59, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Another warning

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ApolloBoy 07:39, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Recreation of deleted articles

I have deleted the three articles that you recently recreated: The Class Hyosung, Gojin Motors & Hansung Motor Company. Please note that it is NOT acceptable to restore articles that were deleted at WP:AFD. If you want these articles returned you must post a request at Wikipedia:Deletion review. [edit] Korean companies

Hello Mirmo!

Thanks for your contributions, but please stop creating subcategories of Category:Companies of South Korea. You have created a number of redundant categories, and also a number of unnecessarily small and specific categories. If you are looking for a more constructive way to contribute to Wikipedia, I'm afraid this is not it. -- Visviva 05:38, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Living people of South Korea

Hey, Mirmo!

I've noticed that you've repeatedly placed Category:Living people of South Korea into Category:Culture of South Korea. As a subcategory of Category:Living people, it really should not be placed within any category that is not a child category of Category:Wikipedia administration. The "living people" categories are not designed to be used by Wikipedia readers: they exist solely to make the job of administrating Wikipedia by editors easier. Mixing and matching administrative categories with other categories, therefore, only makes things more confusing. – Seancdaug 09:13, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Changing Category:Living people

Hi there. Please stop or changing Category:Living people to Category:Living people of South Korea. As per Wikipedia policy, Category:Living people should be put on any page about a living person. Adding Category:Living people of South Korea is up to you, as you know it is currently up for WP:CfD. I'd personally wait to see if the category is deleted or not before adding to this category. No matter what you decide, Category:Living people should not be renamed or removed unless the person is has died. Changes like this would be considered vandalism. If you have any concerns, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.--PS2pcGAMER (talk) 13:49, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Correct infobox

Please do not use {{Infobox television}} for articles about anime series. Anime and manga have their very own infobox, {{Infobox animanga}}. --TheFarix (Talk) 23:30, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cut and paste

Hi, I noticed that you cut-and-paste the content of E-land into E-Land. Although the move was a good idea, in the future please use the "move" tab at the top of the page, or the formal process at Wikipedia:Requested moves. When you move a page by cutting and pasting, this destroys the page history, which is a critical part of every Wikipedia article. Thanks for your cooperation. -- Visviva 11:45, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Redundant categories

Category:Oil companies of the United States belongs to the Category:Oil companies, so it is redundant to add both categories to the same article. Please avoid adding any but the lowest-level (most specific) category to articles in Wikipedia. If what I'm saying is not clear, please let me know. Thanks, -- Mwanner | Talk 12:12, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] IBM Korea

You have recently created the article IBM Korea. This was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not recreate the article: if you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a review at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Kimchi.sg 20:30, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mitsubishi Fuso

Please note that Mitsubishi Motors and Mitsubishi Fuso are no loner connected. Fuso is owned 85% by DaimlerChrysler, and 15% by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Mitsubishi Motors has had no direct shareholding since 2005. --DeLarge 11:08, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

I will say this a second time: Mitsubishi Fuso and Mitsubishi Motors no longer have any connection to each other. Please refrain from appending Category:Mitsubishi Motors to Mitsubishi Fuso pages or categories. --DeLarge 19:20, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

noborder

Please stop. Template:Delete clearly states in bold letters: do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue to do this, you may be blocked! LX (talk, contribs) 05:20, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Amd Again

Do you not read your talk page? Once again you have removed an AFD header. Do not do this again. --Spartaz 09:43, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] LIG

A tag has been placed on LIG, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Missvain 03:24, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deleted page "Daily Surprise"

A page you created, or image you uploaded, Daily Surprise, has been deleted in accordance with our deletion policy. In particular, it meets the one or more criteria for speedy deletion; the relevant criterion is:

Unremarkable people, groups, companies and web content. An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable notability guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content; it will be deleted again and may be protected from re-creation. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article. If you have any questions, please contact an administrator for assistance. Thank you – Gurch 05:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nambang Chemical

Nambang Chemical has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this company might not yet be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. Same goes for Powone. NickelShoe (Talk) 00:07, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hansung Machinery Co.

An article that you have been involved in editing, Hansung Machinery Co., has been listed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hansung Machinery Co.. Please look there to see why this is, if you are interested in whether it should be deleted. Thank you. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 01:33, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Prodding Isuzu no Torakku

I have placed a prod tag on the page you created for the CM song "Isuzu no Torakku". If you would like to make a notability assertion on the page, please feel free to do so. Happy editing. Dekimasu 05:53, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Hyundai Innocean Communications

An editor has nominated Hyundai Innocean Communications, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hyundai Innocean Communications and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Jayden54Bot 10:18, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company

A tag has been placed on Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Springnuts 19:36, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company

Please do not remove the speedy nomination from pages you have created yourself. Springnuts 19:57, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

This is your last warning. The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company, you will be blocked. You have already been warned about removing tags from articles you have created. This is your last warning. Springnuts 20:06, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 24 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. In particular, please stop creating dozens of company articles without references and assertions of notability; and do not delete speedy deletion tags. Read these links before creating any more articles. Sandstein 09:03, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

Hi Mirmo. Please be careful when creating and editing articles without establishing the notability of the subjects you are discussing. A number of article you have edited have been tagged for deletion, and some of these tags are legitimate. Others at WP:WPKOREA may be able to help. Deiz talk 09:48, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Several articles you have created have been deleted for failing criteria at WP:CSD#A7. Ensure that you read WP:CSD and WP:CORP before returning to editing. Deiz talk 09:59, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sunil Industry

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Sunil Industry, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
