[edit] Migrate my archive?

Hi there,

I noticed what you did with Rfrisbie's userbox archive, and was wondering if you could do the same to mine (if it's not too much work) at User:MiraLuka/Userboxes (a full list is at User:MiraLuka/Userboxes/Alphabetical). I've been out of the userbox "business" for a while now, and I recently asked for a name change, so I thought this would be the ideal time to move them all out. Great. I noticed when I was cleaning all those boxes out of my watchlist that there's at least one odd one: {{User:UBX/DEUTSCH}} (moved to User:UBX/DEUTSCH) is actually just a redirect to Wikipedia:Userbox migration/Userbox. So transclusions should probably be pointed there. I'll let you know if I find another odd one. —Mira 02:27, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Neat that it tells you when it'll be done. Thanks for telling me. I did find one other odd one, though. User:UBX/knight redirects to User:Nouly/Userboxes/User knight. And do you think you could migrate User:MiraLuka/Userboxes/Nav as well? —Mira 02:56, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

I'm going to bed for the night, but I'll leave the bot running. It's going quicker than expected, so expect the time to be approximately 3/20/2007 06:43:49 UTC. Then I'll go through and fix any extra cases (i.e. protected pages, pages caught by the spam filter, pages with extremely unusual formatting that weren't caught by the bot, etc.) and then when all transclusions are fixed will delete your subpages. —METS501 (talk) 03:41, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, it looks like your bot has stopped. I'm not sure if it finished, though, because my name change seems to have gone through around the same time. One thing I do know is that all the userbox pages got moved to my new namespace, so now there are twice as many pages to delete. :( —Mira 06:49, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Sorry to make you do work :-). Do you mind going through the templates listed at Special:Prefixindex/User:MiraLuka/Userboxes/ and marking all of them with no more transclusions for deletion? Thanks. It should be most of them, and at that point it will be much easier for me to see what work I have left. If you could also do the same for Special:Prefixindex/User:Mira/Userboxes/, that would be great. Thanks! The LGBT studies WikiProject Newsletter! Issue V - April 3, 2007

Monthly Challenge: Article News Three articles were promoted to Featured Article status this month: Homer's Phobia (2007-03-26), Trembling Before G-d (2007-03-15) and Andrew Van De Kamp (2007-03-30). Congratulations to Gran2 and Dev920 (twice!) respectively for all their hard work! Three new articles appeared on the Main Page as Did you know? items: Classification of transsexuals (2007-03-02), Steve Stanton (2007-03-08) and Melbourne Gay and Lesbian Chorus (2007-03-23), started by Lwollert, Yksin and MusicMen, respectively. DavidShankBone deserves kudos for his current drive to provide quality LGBT photos from the NYC area. One of the more recent photos is posted on Michael Musto, and you can check out the gallery on David's user page. Project News There is now the beginning of a list of core topics to possibly be included in the Wikipedia 1.0 release. Your suggestions are welcome; there may be many core LGBT topics still missing. We have a list of people categorized as LGBT whose articles need to be checked for reliable sourcing. This effort is necessary and urgent, to comply with Wikipedia's policy on living persons. Please take a few moments to source one article; if you've got time, do another. SatyrTN identified all the articles that were in subcategories of Category:LGBT but not yet tagged with the project's banner, about 1,400 articles. These have been completed, though SatyrBot will make periodic runs through the cats to find any new entries. Thanks Satyr! The number of articles within our project's spectrum (6,667 currently) should now be relatively stable and only grow with article creation. However, if you find a category that should be included, please let SatyrTN know so it can be included in the bots runs. Work is underway to improve the LGBT Portal. Please add any good quality (free) photos you come across on LGBT articles to the gallery here. Also if anyone would like to volunteer to help in maintaining the portal, please make yourselves known on the Portal's talkpage. If you see any articles for deletion or any other deletion discussions related to LGBT topics, please remember to add them to the deletion sorting board. Thanks!
