Talk:Mircea II of Wallachia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've got a problem : Mircea II is mentioned in several articles (possibly by the same writer) as having died by being buried alive. This is obviously a form of execution by somebody in whose power he had fallen. If so, how come nobody tells who it was did it? This is a hole in the story, and bothersome. There's also the problem of his life dates : he was ruler in 1442, but is known to have survived the battle of Varna in 1444, and to have supported his father in his bad relations with Janoš Hunyadi of Hungary, meaning he did not die in the immediate aftermath, so when did it happen? --Svartalf 03:31, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
