Mircea Hava is the current mayor of the municipality of Alba Iulia, Romania ( in office since 2000 ). He is a member of the Democratic Party and is now serving the second term . Hava is considered to be one of the most popular mayors of Romania as he was reelected in 2004 during the first round with more than 50 % of the votes.
