In 2005, Roth led a previously unheralded University of Washington team to UPA Nationals for the first time, making it to the championship game before losing to a heavily favored Stanford University team. She has also played for the Atlanta-area club teams Ozone and Fetch, Minneapolis's Bait, and currently coaches Seattle's elite MOHO junior's club.
