Miracle Pets is a one-hour, live action program on the ION network, offering a perspective into the amazing realm of human and animal interaction. Hosted by Alan Thicke, the series features animals protecting humans or other pets by means of extraordinary means, one such being a llama guarding a herd of alpacas. It is also shown on Animal Planet as Animal Miracles. Each episode contains three or four segments, some extended beyond a commercial.

The most common animal seen is a dog; Least common is a llama (shown once so far).
Over half of the epiosdes feature fires of some sort, and the animals typically being a dog or cat.
Special episodes include those with police dogs and other service dogs.
