Mira Kuś

Mira Kuś, (born December 30, 1958), is a contemporary Polish poet. She lives in Kraków and is a journalist and member of the Polish Writers Association.

She graduated in Physics at Jagiellonian University and she often writes science articles for the press.

Translations of some of her poems have appeared in foreign newspapers, mainly in Germany and USA, but also in Sweden, Bulgaria and Slovenia.

She has edited six poem books:

  1. Gdzieś jest ta oaza (Wydawnictwo Literackie, Kraków)
  2. Natura daje mi tajemne znaki (Warszawa)
  3. Rajski pejzaż (Baran i Suszczyński, Kraków)
  4. Przekłady z zieleni (Plus, Kraków)
  5. O, niebotyczna góro garów (Kraków)

She has also published fairy tales for children, in school textbooks among others. She has won several competitions and awards.
