Parts of this article read like a bad highschool essay. The entire "Warrior priestesses" section is a good candidate for major revision. First of all, the Hawkes theory needs to be toned down a bit- it's an interesting theory, but Minoan archaeology is too tentative to make any fixed conclusions, and I don't think Wikipedia is the right place to popularize particular theories. The whole "Queen Goddess" term is pretty bizarre too. There isn't any evidence cited that their rulers had a divine status and even if they did, it is still a bit bizarre to use this term, it would be a bit like writing an article about the pope and refering to him in descriptive passages with something like "His Holiness". 129.2.180.227 19:22, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
