Talk:Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Japan)

[edit] Footnote removed
Removed the following:
- The Japanese name for this ministry literally translates to "Province of National Land and Transportation". The term "province" is the Japanese equivalent of a Cabinet-level Department in western countries, and is not used as a term for subnational entities.
While 省 is used to refer to Chinese provinces, it is only used in Japanese to refer to ministries, so this note is misleading (and rather silly). - Sekicho 04:47, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
