This year's is #41, making it one of the oldest SF conventions in the world. It's my local convention as well, and has been important to me for years, but I think simple longevity is of some relevance for this kind of event. Dd-b 22:33, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Other wikipedians are also real people who know things. It is standard to be able to cite personal conversations as sources. Note that I did not cite myself, which would be obviously fishy.  :-) --Strait 19:51, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
