Agathus is the main antagonist during The Enemies of Jupiter and one of Beronice's most prominent assasins and agents in Rome. During his attempt to set fire to Rome, he is killed by Jonathan ben Mordecai. He also feautures less prominently in The Assasins of Rome.

Plump, dim and jolly, Alma is a slave in the Geminus household. Unlike most other characters nothing is known of her past.

[edit] Antonius Bato
Ostia's junior Magistrate, Bato has appeared in The Assasins of Rome, The Dolphins of Laurentum and more prominently, The Colossus of Rhodes.. He bares resemblances to Arthur Conan Doyle's Inspector Lestrade.

Doorslave to the Cornix family, Bulbus appears to be on good terms with Caudex and seems to be even more unintelligent than his friend.

Captured by the Romans during The Roman Invasion of Britain, Caudex is the quiet doorslave of the Geminus family. An ex-gladiator, he saved Jonathan's life during The Gladiators from Capua.
[edit] Aulus Cornix
Flavia's maternal uncle, Senator Cornix reportedly has bad blood between him and Captain Geminus. When he was healed of the plauge by Mordecai, they became on good terms. He feautures prominently in The Charioteer from Delphi and supports the Greens firmly, not unlike his son, Alus Jr.

Flavia's arrogant cousin, twelve-year oldAulus Jr dislikes the Blues almost as much as Flavia.

The Senator's wife, Cynthia is a stereotypical upper-class woman. During The Gladiators of Capua, it is implied strongly that Cynthia has bloodlust.

Nine-year old Hyacinth is the Senator's eldest daughter who is on reportedly bad terms with her older brother.
[edit] Quintus and Sextus Cornix
The Senator's twin sons, Quintus and Sextus are Aulus Jr's largest source of annoyance.

Since the death of her younger sisters, four-year old Rhoda is the baby of the family once more. She is the quickest of The Senator's children to warm to Flavia and her friends.

[edit] Simeon ben Jonah
A Jewish zealot during The Siege of Jerusalem, Simeon is Jonathan's maternal uncle. He journeys with Jonathan to Rome to discover if his sister, and Jonathan's mother, Susannah is still alive. He dies of the plauge in The Enemies of Jupiter.
[edit] Susannah ben Jonah
Susannah was a slave in Nero's Golden House and was the target of Beronice's assasins. She returns to Ostia with her husband and is pronounced dead by The Emperor Titus.

[edit] Mnason
Mnason features in The Twelve Tasks of Flavia Gemina and more prominently The Gladiators from Capua, in which hie son, Bar-Mnason is introduced. In his first appearance he rewards Nubia with her trademark lionskin cloak after she assists him in recapturing his tame lion, Monobaz. During The Gladiators from Capua, Monobaz features in a mock beast fight with a rabbit. He and Bar also assists Nubia in saving Flavia's life.

[edit] Rizpah
Eight-year old Rizpah is a slave in Nero's Golden House and instantly befriends fellow Jew, Jonathan, during The Assasisn of Rome. She returns in The Enemies of Jupiter where she succesfully gets Flavia, Jonathan, Nubia and Lupus into Beronice's room and identifies the box inside the Ark of Convenent. If Simeon hadn't met his death during the plauge, she would have become his goddaughter. It is unlikely that Rizpah will appear again, as no more books will be feautured in Rome.

[edit] Aulus Caesilius Sisyphus
Senator Cornix' secretary, Sisyphus assists the children in all of their adventures in Rome. He is freed in The Charioteer of Delphi in which he places a huge bet on Scopas, the green charioteer and wins.
