Ministry of Cultural Warfare
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ministry of Cultural Warfare is a multi-disciplinary, non-profit arts group located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The group produces plays, sketch comedy, videos and newsletters that address social, cultural and polital topics with an irreverent sense of humor and mission of change.[1] The group is unabashadly left-leaning, as they state in their numerous written works. Ministry of Cultural Warfare was founded in 2000 by Matthew Foster and Trevor Nelson as an informal theater group to perform at the 2000 Minneapolis Fringe Festival and eventually reorganized as a non-profit. Foster and Nelson had previously collaborated on theater and comedy projects under various titles, starting in 1998.[2]
